A Foreword From Preston:

Hummingbird is a band. Everyone in this band plays music. I am responsible for playing the strings in your heart. Vanderbilt is my name, and good music is my game. I realized I was a prodigy at the age of 4. Mallet in hand, I brought my two fathers to tears with the melody I produced on a simple fisher price xylophone. It was 2009 when I realized how much Hummingbird needed me. I saw a listing on Craigslist where I could bid alongside other people to be security for this up-and-coming band. $300 later, the band welcomed me with open arms. I think they knew how essential I would be to their trajectory to stardom. At first, hearing their demos triggered my gag reflex, but I pushed my distaste aside and began working the Vanderbilt magic. Lou still has the scars from when he tried to prevent me from destroying all the previously written music. I hope you enjoy hearing my raw talent through the medium of music. I guess I also want to thank the band for doing what they do.
